Bir Mula Heritage has become a popular site selected for the filming industry in Malta. For instance Maltese station Net TV filmed an episode from ‘Erwieh Imsakkra’ (Imprisoned Ghosts) and which featured on NET TV on Saturday, 21st. March 2009 at 20.30 hrs.

Other movies filmed at Bir Mula Heritage were:

  • Scrooge, the Maltese version of Charles Dickens’ script of ‘A Christmas Carol’. It featured in cinemas across Valletta during Christmas 2008 and on Net TV with special request.


 

  • Pawlu ta’ Tarsu (Paul of Tarsus) featuring the life of the Apostle Paul, shown at Valletta cinemas and on Net TV in episodes.

 

  • L-itwal lejl (The longest night) by Elio Lombardi which featured on local TV stations.

 

  • Other documentaries and features regarding heritage and culture on local stations including TVM, One TV and other European television stations.
