John is the owner and curator of Bir Mula Heritage. He bought the house in 1996, with his original intention being that of making it as his home. However, once he started to discover ancient artefacts in the house and when he consequently realised that the house was over 1000 years old, he decided to convert it into a museum for all the public to visit.
